Coda Minerals (ASX:COD) is set to start hydrogeological drilling, environmental surveys, and tailings studies over the coming weeks as it advances the Elizabeth Creek project in South Australia, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

The company appointed a hydrogeological drilling contractor to test potential future water supply sources for mining operations while collecting environmental and engineering data for mine planning and approvals, the filing said.

Additionally, the company engaged specialist consultants to undertake detailed studies for the future tailings storage facility, and began a second phase of environmental and ecology surveys across the project, per the filing.
