Milestone Shares Fall on Unexpected 1Q Loss

Milestone Pharmaceuticals shares fell after the company reported first-quarter results that missed analysts' expectations.

Shares fell 11% to $1.70 in Wednesday's premarket trading.

The company posted a loss of $26.1 million, or 20 cents a share. Analysts polled by FactSet expected a profit of 19 cents a share.

Milestone reported quarterly revenue of $238,000. Wall Street was expecting $30.1 million.
