XBP Global said it is exploring strategic alternatives, including a potential sale or divestiture.

The workflow automation company said Thursday the review could encompass a range of structural optimizations intended to simplify its portfolio of assets.

"This process is a proactive step toward a leaner, more focused XBP Global with the financial flexibility to invest in our core growth engines," Chief Executive Andrej Jonovic said.

The company hasn't set a timetable for the review and isn't guaranteeing any specific outcome from it.

Shares fell 5% to $2.22 after hours.
