NeoVolta appointed Jing Nealis chief financial officer to succeed Steve Bond, effective May 18.

The U.S.-based energy technology company said Bond will continue with the company as executive vice president and president of NeoVolta Power, where he will lead the company's manufacturing ramp to mass production at its new Georgia facility.

Nealis, who previously worked as CFO of SES AI since 2021, will receive an annual base salary of $425,000 and a sign-on bonus of $35,417, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission Filing.

"Jing's appointment comes at a defining moment for NeoVolta," said Chief Executive Ardes Johnson. "We are developing a domestic BESS manufacturing platform, expanding from residential into utility-scale, commercial and industrial markets, and pursuing one of the most significant growth opportunities in the US clean energy sector."

NeoVolta on Thursday reported third quarter revenue of $2 million, compared with $2 million a year earlier. Revenue in the quarter was affected by a slowdown in the residential solar market following the expiration of a federal solar investment tax credit for individuals at the end of 2025, the company said.

The company posted a loss of $3 million, or 8 cents a share, compared with a loss of $1.4 million, or 4 cents a share, a year earlier.
