UroGen Pharma (URGN) said Friday its UGN-103 bladder cancer treatment achieved a 94.5% durability of response at six months in an ongoing phase 3 trial.
The phase 3 results align with the 91.9% six-month duration previously observed with the drugmaker's approved Zusduri therapy, the company said.
The experimental formulation offers a simplified manufacturing and preparation process compared to the existing commercial medication, and it plans to file a new drug application for the candidate in Q3, UroGen said.
Shares of the company were down more than 3% in Friday premarket activity.
