Zimmer Biomet (ZBH) said Tuesday it now expects to repurchase up to $1 billion of its stock during fiscal year 2026, increasing its prior target by $250 million.

The company said it will execute the buybacks under its existing $1.5 billion share repurchase authorization, which its board approved in February 2026.

Zimmer Biomet did not change the size, duration or terms of the authorization, the company said.

Zimmer Biomet said it may repurchase shares through open-market purchases or structured repurchase agreements with third parties.
