Zebra Technologies Fiscal Q1 Non-GAAP Earnings, Revenue Rise; Shares Up Pre-Bell

Zebra Technologies (ZBRA) reported fiscal Q1 non-GAAP earnings Tuesday of $4.75 per diluted share, up from $4.02 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $4.25.

Net sales for the quarter ended April 4 were $1.5 billion, up from $1.31 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $1.48 billion.

The company expects fiscal Q2 non-GAAP EPS of $4.20 to $4.50. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $4.14.

Zebra Technologies expects sales growth for the quarter of 14% and 17% year over year.

For the full year, the company now expects non-GAAP EPS of $18.30 to $18.70. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $17.82.

Zebra Technologies now expects full-year net sales to grow 10% to 14%.

The company's shares were up 15% in premarket activity.
