Bill Holdings plans to reduce its workforce by up to 30% in a move aimed at improving profitability.
The layoffs could affect about 709 workers, given the financial operations platform employed 2,364 as of the end of last June, according to its latest annual filing.
The company said the layoffs are part of its ongoing efforts to improve organizational agility and efficiency while also seeking to drive greater profitability.
The company estimates it will incur charges of about $30 million to $60 million tied to the restructuring, consisting primarily of cash expenditures for severance payments, employee benefits and related costs, as well as non-cash charges related to stock-based compensation expense.
The company expects to incur the majority of the restructuring-related charges in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026, and that the restructuring plan will be substantially complete by the end of the first quarter of fiscal 2027.
