Becton Dickinson named Vitor Roque executive vice president and chief financial officer, removing the interim tag he has carried since December.

Becton Dickinson on Thursday said the appointment of Roque, a 25-year veteran of the Franklin Lakes, N.J., medical-technology company, follows a comprehensive search process.

Roque, who most recently served as senior vice president of finance and corporate financial planning and analysis, stepped in as interim finance chief after Chris DelOrefice left to join Ulta Beauty as chief financial officer.
