Gorilla Gold Mines Finds New Footwall Lode at Western Australia Deposit; Shares Up 8%

Gorilla Gold Mines (ASX:GG8) found a new high-grade footwall lode at the Sovereign deposit, within its Comet Vale project in Western Australia, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
Drilling showed 9.3 meters at nearly 21 grams per tonne grade of gold from about 415 meters, with the mineralization occurring 50 meters into the footwall of the main lode, the filing said.
A resampling and new diamond drilling program will assess the scale potential of the discovery, per the filing.
Shares rose 8% in afternoon trade on Monday.
