China Kepei Education Sees Fall in Fiscal H1 Profit Even as Revenue Jumps 20%

China Kepei Education Group (HKG:1890) recorded 383.7 million yuan in attributable profit for the fiscal first half ended Feb. 28, down from 426.2 million yuan in the prior-year period, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Wednesday.
The education services company's shares fell nearly 10% in recent trade.
Earnings per share were 0.1908 yuan, compared with 0.2119 yuan in the prior year period.
Revenue jumped 20% year on year to 1.10 billion yuan, figures showed.
