Omnicell Shares Rally Premarket After Swing to 1Q Profit

Shares of Omnicell rose sharply after the provider of healthcare technology swung to a first-quarter profit on better-than-anticipated revenue growth.

The Fort Worth, Texas, provider of medicine-dispensing equipment and other automated healthcare technology posted earnings of $11.4 million, or 25 cents a share, in contrast to a loss of $7.02 million, or 15 cents a share, a year earlier.

Analysts were looking for income of zero cents per share, as per FactSet.

Revenue rose 15% to $309.9 million, topping the mean analyst estimate of $304 million.

For the second quarter, Omnicell targeted adjusted earnings of 40 cents to 48 cents a share on revenue in a range between $307 million and $313 million. For 2026, the company projected adjusted earnings of $1.80 to $2 a share on revenue between about $1.22 billion and $1.26 billion.

Shares of Omnicell rose 21% to $45.50, premarket.
