Locksley Resources Advances Exploration at California Project in March Quarter; Shares Up 3%

Locksley Resources (ASX:LKY) advanced exploration at the Desert Antimony Mine within its Mojave project in California during the quarter ended March 31, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
Maiden diamond drilling started at the mine during the quarter, targeting extensions of the known high-grade stibnite mineralization below and along strike of the historic workings, the filing said.
Additionally, the quarter saw the production of 99.5% purity antimony trioxide from mine feedstock in a bench-scale, X-ray diffraction analyzed test, per the filing.
Shares rose nearly 3% in afternoon trade Thursday.
