Six wealth management firms, all formerly affiliated with Commonwealth Financial Network, have agreed to merge to form Kintra, a new registered investment advisory firm.

Commonwealth was acquired by LPL Financial in a deal announced in March 2025. At that point, Commonwealth's approximately 2,900 advisors could decide whether to stay with LPL or find a new home. One independent report in late January put attrition from LPL of Commonwealth advisors at 22.5%.

The six wealth management firms forming Kintra have over $4 billion in assets under management and 74 employees in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Ohio, Kentucky, Florida, and Texas. The founding firms are Evergreen Wealth Solutions, Warren Wealth Associates, Loring Advisory Group, Tupler Financial, Rembrandt Financial Group, and McCarthy & Cox.

Kintra says its advisors have decades of experience serving individuals and families, business owners, and institutions.

"Each of our firms has built something strong independently, but by coming together, we're able to elevate the client experience, expand our capabilities, and invest more deeply in a modern, technology-enabled platform," says Andy Harris, co-founder and CEO of Kintra. He says clients will benefit from the advisors collaborating to deliver "a broader perspective, deeper planning, and more thoughtful guidance."

Kintra expects to add more advisors to its network. "We're focused on bringing the right people into this community," says co-founder Nick Loring, suggesting they would welcome advisors who share a focus on helping clients "create lives of meaning and impact," and also building a lasting enterprise. "Kintra is designed to grow in a way that makes us better, not just bigger."

Co-founder Jim Cox adds: "Our role is to help clients build that kind of life with clarity, confidence, and purpose."

A representative for LPL wasn't immediately available to comment on the teams' departures.
