0941 ET - Choice Properties' acquisition of C$5 billion in First Capital properties is near term dilutive, but offers potential for multiple expansion, according to Scotiabank in a report. Analyst Himanshu Gupta says "market focus has been on 4 cents FFOPU [funds from operations] dilution (or 3.9% of 2027 FFOPU)." But Gupta also says, "We think the transaction elevates CHP's profile, and should bring new investors in the name." (adriano.marchese@wsj.com)
