WPP Momentum Seen Improving -- Market Talk

1252 GMT - WPP's momentum continues to improve, with new client wins like Estee Lauder and fewer senior staff departures, analysts at Bernstein say in a research note. The Estee Lauder account could add media billings of $680 million, Bernstein says, citing data from research firm COMvergence. It adds to other recent account wins such as SCJohnson, Wendy's and Norwegian Cruise Line, and the U.K. advertising group has only suffered one major loss since the start of the year, according to Bernstein. Meanwhile, the group made five senior appointments and saw three senior departures since Bernstein's last count in mid-December, the analysts say. "In our media and internet coverage, WPP could be the stock with the most upside if things go right, but fundamentally we believe this is not yet the case," they add. Shares fall 0.4%.
