ING (ING) plans a significant risk transfer on 3.5 billion euros ($4.13 billion) of loans tied to projects across the oil, gas, renewable power and other sectors, Bloomberg News reported Tuesday, citing people familiar with the deal.
The deal's final terms are subject to discussions with investors, the unnamed sources told the news outlet.
ING intends to extend the use of significant risk transfers "across retail and wholesale banking portfolios in the coming years," Bloomberg reported, citing a spokesperson said.
ING did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
