0128 GMT - AEON Thana Sinsap (Thailand) is likely to benefit from its second share buyback plan, UOB Kay Hian analysts say in a research report. The buyback, which accounts for 1% of total issued shares, will last for six months, the analysts note. This program should help support the financial services provider's share price. Meanwhile, the brokerage raises its FY 2027 and FY 2028 earnings forecasts for the Thai company by 4.7% and 5.3%, respectively, to partly reflect improvement in credit costs. It raises the stock's rating to hold from sell and the target price to THB100.00 from THB92.00. Shares last closed at THB91.75. (ronnie.harui@wsj.com)
