Pacific Edge (ASX:PEB, NZE:PEB) said its total laboratory throughput, or volume of tests performed, increased 2.7% in the March quarter from the linked period to 5,582 tests, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.

Volumes in the US gained 1%, mainly reflecting growth through the Kaiser Permanente Southern California

system, while Asia-Pacific volumes rose 7.7%, per the filing.

The improvement in test volumes came despite disruption caused by transitioning certain US customers and fewer operating days in the US, where a series of winter storms impacted operations, the company said.

Pacific Edge also said it saw "significant" commercial success in the US and Asia Pacific during the March quarter, including coverage of its Cxbladder Triage test by Blue Cross Blue Shield North Carolina and the incorporation of its Triage, Triage Plus, and Monitor offerings by Singapore General Hospital.
