Life360 (ASX:360) laid off an undisclosed number of employees, as part of plans to reshape the company into an "AI-native model," according to a social media post by Chief Executive Lauren Antonoff.

With the adoption of AI, "we're seeing more fundamental changes to how work gets done" and that "roles people play are shifting in ways we couldn't have anticipated," Antonoff said.

Its shares fell 3% in recent trading on Friday.
