Radiopharm Theranostics (ASX:RAD) received a positive recommendation from the data safety and monitoring committee to progress its clinical-stage radiotherapeutic candidate, lutetium-177-RAD202, to the next dose level of 130 millicurie (mCi) from 75 mCi in the phase one "HEAT" dose escalating clinical trial in patients with Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 (HER2)-positive advanced solid tumors, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The favorable safety profile allows the firm to accelerate the dose escalation from the second group to the third group, the firm's Chief Executive, Riccardo Canevari, said.
Its shares rose 5% in recent trading on Wednesday.
