Meanwhile, the consumer durables sector struggled, shedding 9%.
KMD Brands (NZE:KMD, ASX:KMD), whose shares fell past 7% in recent trade in New Zealand, opened the retail component of its fully underwritten NZ$58.5 million 1-for-0.73 pro-rata accelerated renounceable entitlement offer on Tuesday.
