Asara Resources Confirms Broad Zones of Continuous Mineralization at Guinea Deposit; Shares Up 9%

Asara Resources (ASX:AS1) confirmed consistent broad zones of continuous mineralization growing the down-dip extent of the Massan deposit within its Kada project in Guinea with the latest results from first-phase reverse circulation and diamond drilling, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Results from 10 drill holes covering 2,024 meters include 62 meters at 1.5 grams per tonne grade of gold, 29 meters at 2.1 g/t grad of gold from 25 meters, and nearly 12 meters at 1.9 g/t grade of gold from 198 meters, the filing said.

The company also reported results from 26 drill holes covering 2,294 meters from the second-phase air-core and reverse circulation drilling program at the deposit, including 24 meters at 0.7 g/t grade of gold from three meters and six meters at 2.7 g/t grade of gold from 40 meters, per the filing.

Shares rose 9% in morning trade on Wednesday.
