Galan Lithium Completes First-Phase Construction at Argentina Project; Shares Up 3%

Galan Lithium (ASX:GLN) completed phase one construction activities at its Hombre Muerto West project in Argentina, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The project has moved into the testing and commissioning phase, with electrical and mechanical testing programs now underway to ensure operational readiness, the filing said.
The project is on track for first lithium chloride concentrate in the first half of the year, with the first shipment planned for the second half, per the filing.
Shares rose almost 3% in morning trade Wednesday.
