Horizon Oil (ASX:HZN) and its Mereenie joint venture partners have agreed with the Northern Territory's Power and Water Corp. to extend the deadline for a binding gas sales agreement to April 10 from April 1, according to Thursday filings with the Australian bourse.
Participants in the joint venture include Echelon Resources (ASX:ECH), Central Petroleum (ASX:CTP), and Cue Energy Resources (ASX:CUE).
Non-binding terms agreed between the parties in December last year call for the sale of gas from the Mereenie and Palm Valley fields through the end of 2034, according to a previous filing.
