Anson Resources (ASX:ASN) said South Korean steel manufacturer POSCO rescheduled its internal investment approval decision for the proposed direct lithium extraction demonstration plant at the company's Green River project in Utah, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The investment decision has been postponed due to global uncertainty, the filing said.

POSCO recently completed its technical evaluation, including brine testing and site design for the plant, per the filing.

Anson Resources shares fell 2% in morning trade on Wednesday.
