Trek Metals (ASX:TKM) said petrophysical testing of seven manganese rock chip samples from the Kuro prospect at the Christmas Creek project in Western Australia resulted in anomalously high chargeability values of 484 millivolts per volt (mV/V) to 642 mV/V, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
The results support the firm's planned initial gradient array induced polarization survey over the entire discovery area in April.
