Forrestania Resources (ASX:FRS) said it has completed its maiden drill program at the British Hill gold project in Western Australia, with the second batch of assay results confirming multiple mineralized zones, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company said "significant" high-grade intersections include seven meters at about 7 grams per tonne grade of gold from 120 meters; two meters at 6.6 g/t gold from 146 meters; nine meters at 5.1 g/t gold from 197 meters; six meters at 4.6 g/t gold from 187 meters; seven meters at 3.6 g/t gold from 209 meters; seven meters at 3.5 g/t gold from 115 meters; and three meters at 3.1 g/t gold from surface.
Further assays are pending alongside drilling to expand the project's mineral resource estimate, according to the filing.
Shares of Forrestania gained more than 2% in recent trading on Monday.
