Bougainville Copper (ASX:BOC) said it will not lodge its audited financial statements by Tuesday's deadline, triggering an automatic suspension of its shares on the Australian Securities Exchange from April 1, according to a same-day filing with the Australian bourse.
The company is finalizing its accounts with auditors and will release the audited financial statements at the earliest opportunity, the filing added.
The company's shares rose 3% in recent Tuesday trade.
