News Corp Secures Nearly $2 Billion in Credit Facilities

News Corp (ASX:NWS) secured $1.5 billion in unsecured credit facilities on March 27, including a $1 billion five-year revolving credit facility and a $500 million five-year term loan A facility, to refinance existing debt and support general corporate purposes, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

The revolving facility allows borrowings, prepayments, and re-borrowing, with a $100 million sub-limit for letters of credit, while the term loan A facility are repaid in quarterly installments ranging from 0% to 5% per year, per the filing.

Both facilities are set to mature on March 27, 2031, with potential extensions under specified conditions, feature interest rates tied to various reference rates, and include standard covenants and default provisions, the filing added.
