Tai Sin Electric Likely Positioned as Late-Cycle Beneficiary of Construction Boom -- Market Talk

0620 GMT - Tai Sin Electric is likely positioned as late-cycle beneficiary of Singapore's construction boom, CGS International analysts say in a research report. The company typically sees an increase in delivery volumes one to two years after mechanical and electrical contractors, who are its clients, win contracts as cable demand is synchronized with execution and installation phases of projects, the analysts say. The cable and wire manufacturer's production plants in Singapore allow it to secure large public-sector projects, and it could win more projects from upcoming Jurong Island green data centre park. The brokerage initiates coverage of the stock with an add rating and a target price of S$0.74. Shares are 7.0% higher at S$0.535. (ronnie.harui@wsj.com)
