Prudential (HKG:2378, SGX:K6S) posted profit attributable to equity holders of $3.98 billion for 2025, up from $2.29 billion a year earlier, according to a Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing.
Earnings per share came in at $1.535, compared with $0.840 in the prior-year period. Analysts at Visible Alpha estimated $1.05 in earnings per share.
Insurance revenue rose to $11.1 billion from $10.4 billion.
The board approved a second interim cash dividend of $0.1889 per share, up from $0.1629 a year earlier.
Looking ahead, the insurer expects to deliver double-digit growth in 2026 across its key metrics, including new business profit, basic earnings per share based on adjusted operating profit, and operating free surplus generated from its in-force insurance and asset management businesses.
