Ridley's (ASX:RIC) said it expects fiscal year core profit to be supported by strength across its three segments, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company said its group earnings in the fiscal year are projected to be led by a nine-month contribution from the Fertilizers unit, particularly due to seasonal demand in the second half.
An increased market share and operational efficiency in its Bulk Stockfeeds unit, along with processing improvements and commodity price recovery in the Packaged Feeds and Ingredients segment, are also set to boost its earnings.
Ridley does not expect fiscal year earnings to be affected by ongoing tensions in West Asia, on the back of a diversified fertilizer supply network, it added.
