Honda Motor (HMC) plans to start selling China-made electric vehicles in Japan as early as spring, Nikkei reported Wednesday.
The company plans to import vehicles under its e:N electric vehicle brand in China and have the vehicles conform to Japanese standards, according to the report. Honda plans to offer these vehicles in Japan under its Insight brand, Nikkei said.
Honda Motor did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
