MA Financial Group to Sell Infinite Care to Anglicare Sydney; Shares Fall 3%

MA Financial Group (ASX:MAF), through its MA Aged Care Fund, has signed an agreement to sell Infinite Care to Anglicare Sydney for an undisclosed amount, with the transaction expected to close in the first half of the year pending customary approvals, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

The company expects to realize a gain of around AU$20 million from the sale, which will be recorded as a one-off significant item, per the filing.

The company will also receive a performance fee linked to the fund's strong performance, with the final amount of the investment gain and fee subject to customary transaction adjustments upon completion of the sale, the filing said.

The proceeds will be used to fund growth initiatives, the filing added.

The company's shares fell around 3% in recent Monday trade.
