Shares of Evolus climbed after the company swung to a fourth-quarter profit as its revenue climbed, and the company said it is advancing toward sustainable profitability.

The stock rose 15%, to $4.75, in premarket trading Wednesday. Through Tuesday's close, the stock has lost more than 70% of its value over the past year.

The beauty company reported late Tuesday that in the fourth quarter it swung to a profit of $111,000, from a loss of $7.01 million a year earlier. Quarterly per-share earnings were nil, compared with analyst expectations for a loss of 3 cents a share, according to FactSet.

Revenue rose 14% to $90.3 million, ahead of the $89.5 million that Wall Street modeled. The company attributed the increase to higher volumes across all products.

Chief Executive David Moatazedi said the company's profitability in the recent quarter reflects the benefits of decisive expense actions that were implemented earlier in the year. Those actions should enable continued growth over the coming year, he added.

For 2026, Evolus guided for revenue of $327 million to $337 million, marking a 10% to 13% increase from last year. Analysts expect a top line of $330.2 million.

"As we advance toward sustainable profitability and meaningful free cash flow, we expect to have the financial flexibility to actively manage our capital structure while continuing to invest in growth, reinforcing the strength and durability of our long-term value creation strategy," Moatazedi said.
