Soufflet Malt Partners with United Breweries to Set Up New Malthouse in Rajasthan, India

Maltster Soufflet Malt has partnered with beer manufacturer United Breweries (NSE:UBL, BOM:532478) to build a malthouse in South Rajasthan, India, according to a Friday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.
The new facility will have a malt capacity of 110,000 tons per year and provide malt for the brewing of United Breweries' beers, such as Kingfisher and Heineken. There are plans to double capacity during the second phase of the project.
The first phase of the facility is expected to be commissioned at the beginning of 2028.
Soufflet Malt already has a malt house in Alwar, Rajasthan, with an 18,000-ton capacity.
