Shares of CoreWeave, Inc. (CRWV) surged 5.16% during Tuesday's intraday trading session, fueled by a positive analyst revision from JPMorgan.
JPMorgan analyst Samik Chatterjee raised the firm's price target on the AI cloud infrastructure company to $110 from $105, while maintaining a Neutral rating. The brokerage pointed to strong demand for AI compute capacity, highlighting that recent pricing for computing deals—such as those involving SpaceX—indicates a significant gap between the supply and demand of AI computing power.
“Despite our favorable outlook for the company, we envision execution to margins is the most critical watchpoint for investors and, in that regard, we see limited near-term catalysts,” JPMorgan noted. The stock's upward move also comes as investors anticipate CoreWeave's second-quarter earnings report, scheduled for release after the market close.
