FIT HON TENG (06088) shares fell more than 14%, trading at HK$5.125 as of the time of writing, with a turnover of HK$411 million.

The company reported its 2026 interim results, showing a net profit attributable to shareholders of US$38.097 million, up 20.9% year-on-year. However, operating profit came in at US$74 million, down 29.5% from the same period last year, primarily due to foreign exchange impacts. The operating profit margin fell to 2.97% from 4.56%, while profit before tax dropped 34.9% year-on-year to US$52.38 million.

Revenue for the period reached approximately US$2.5 billion, an increase of 8.3%. Within this, smartphone-related revenue grew 2.9%, while cloud network infrastructure revenue surged 55.8%. In contrast, revenue from computer and consumer electronics fell 20.6%, mainly due to upstream component shortages like memory chips. The automotive end market generated 6.2% less revenue.
