Orthocell Ltd's stock price plummeted 8.21% during intraday trading on Monday, following the company's quarterly financial update.
The biotech company reported revenue of AU$3.2 million for the March quarter, which was in line with the prior quarter's results and primarily driven by sales of its nerve repair product, Remplir. This lack of sequential growth appears to have disappointed investors despite positive forward-looking statements from the company.
Orthocell noted it expects a material uplift in US revenue in upcoming quarters after establishing a commercial distribution platform covering over 16 states, with regulatory approval for Remplir in the US and UK anticipated in the second half of 2026.
