Ascentage Pharma (NASDAQ: AAPG; HKEX: 6855) has announced its interim results for the first half of 2026, showcasing continued momentum in its commercial operations. Total revenue for the period reached RMB 302 million, a 29% increase year-over-year.
Fueled by the dual-engine growth of its two marketed products, olverembatinib (brand name Noltec) and lisaftoclax (brand name Lisentuo), the company’s self-sustaining revenue generation capabilities have strengthened further. Product sales revenue climbed to RMB 282 million during the reporting period, reflecting a 33% year-over-year growth. As of the end of the period, the company held approximately RMB 1.9 billion in total cash reserves, providing a solid financial foundation to support its global R&D and commercial expansion initiatives.
Currently, seven global registrational Phase III clinical studies are underway for its core assets, olverembatinib and lisaftoclax. Among these, four have received regulatory approval from the U.S. FDA and the European EMA. These include the POLARIS-1 study evaluating olverembatinib in newly diagnosed Philadelphia chromosome-positive acute lymphoblastic leukemia (Ph+ ALL) patients; the POLARIS-2 study assessing olverembatinib in adult patients with chronic-phase chronic myeloid leukemia (CML-CP) who have prior treatment history; the GLORA study combining lisaftoclax with a BTK inhibitor for patients with CLL/SLL previously treated with BTK inhibitors; and the GLORA-4 study investigating lisaftoclax as a first-line therapy for newly diagnosed intermediate- and high-risk myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS).
Notably, lisaftoclax is currently the only Bcl-2 inhibitor globally advancing a registrational Phase III trial in intermediate- and high-risk MDS. The GLORA-4 study has the potential to address a long-standing unmet clinical need in this patient population. The company is rapidly advancing these global registrational trials, positioning its innovative pipeline for an upcoming value-inflection period.
To accelerate its globalization strategy, Ascentage Pharma has recently expanded its senior executive team, signaling a readiness to bolster overseas commercialization. In August 2026, the company appointed Dr. Faiçal Miyara as Chief Business Officer (CBO), overseeing global business development. Additionally, Jim Ziegler has been named Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), responsible for commercial operations in markets outside of Greater China.
Looking ahead, driven by the dual commercial product engine, the rapid progress of multiple global registrational Phase III studies, and the accelerated build-out of its international team and overseas commercial infrastructure, Ascentage Pharma is poised to realize its global innovation potential, ultimately benefiting patients worldwide.
