Unlocking the Wonders of Aviation and Technology

Technology fuels growth, and fun brightens the summer break. To enrich the holiday life of local minors and advance science education for young people, the Chun Jia Community in Huangqiao Street, Xiangcheng District, Suzhou, has actively utilized high-quality local resources.

Leveraging the "Xiao Jiahe" Safe Little Guardian Summer School, the community partnered with Hongsun Aviation Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., a local professional aviation science institution, to create an immersive drone technology experience for area youth. The event combined science lectures, hands-on operation of real aircraft, and exciting competitions, allowing children to learn about low-altitude aviation knowledge through practice and igniting their passion for scientific exploration.

During the event, instructors explained aircraft structure, flight principles, and indoor safety flying rules. They used real-world applications like aerial photography and emergency patrols to show children the practical value of drones. The instructors also patiently answered questions from students, promoting safe and responsible flying practices, and planting seeds of scientific innovation through interaction.

From Theory to Hands-On Flight

After the theory session, the hands-on operation began. To ensure safety, coaches provided one-on-one guidance throughout, demonstrating basic control skills such as takeoff, hovering, turning, and landing step by step. The children took turns flying, and with the coaches' corrections and guidance, they gradually mastered flight control techniques, experiencing the charm of low-altitude technology firsthand.

Following the basic practice, an exciting drone soccer competition kicked off. Staff divided the participants into teams and explained the rules. During the matches, the children worked together seamlessly, alternating between offense and defense and competing flexibly, creating a lively atmosphere. Through the contest, they improved their focus and adaptability while strengthening their sense of teamwork.

Fostering Scientific Curiosity and Teamwork

This activity is a warm-hearted effort by the Chun Jia Community to deepen youth science education and care for the growth of minors. Through science explanations, real aircraft operation, and team competitions, the children systematically learned aviation knowledge, mastered basic flight skills, effectively developed their hands-on abilities and teamwork awareness, and greatly stimulated their enthusiasm for scientific exploration.
