Karman Holdings (KRMN) experienced a significant after-hours plunge of 9.06% following the release of its first quarter financial results.
The company reported adjusted earnings per share of $0.11 for the quarter, which fell short of the analyst consensus estimate of $0.12 by 8.33%. This earnings miss occurred despite the company posting quarterly sales of $151.210 million, which slightly exceeded the $150.148 million estimate.
While Karman Holdings showed year-over-year improvements with earnings increasing 120% from $0.05 per share and sales rising 51.02% from $100.124 million, the failure to meet earnings expectations appears to have triggered the sharp decline in after-hours trading.
