CFMEE shares tumbled 5.29% in early trading on Wednesday, opening at 294.8 HKD/share with turnover of 5.10 million HKD. The sharp decline comes after a 16% surge in the prior session, as investors rushed to lock in gains amid emerging selling pressure from major institutional holders.

Norway's sovereign wealth fund, Norges Bank, has been steadily reducing its H-share position in the company, selling 113,100 shares on July 24 at approximately 303.91 HKD per share and an additional 170,000 shares on July 3, bringing its overall stake down to 8.61%. Meanwhile, the A-share counterpart recorded a block trade on July 31 at a steep 26.21% discount to the market close of 325.23 CNY, signaling significant offloading by large shareholders.

The prior rally was fueled by optimism around AI computing power-driven demand for PCBs and favorable pricing trends, but the rapid advance has now triggered profit-taking. The combination of sustained institutional reductions and aggressive profit realization has weighed on market confidence, driving the stock lower at the start of the session.
