Sri Trang Gloves (Thailand) Public Company Limited (STGT) fell to a net loss of THB 108.6 million for the year ended 31 Dec 2025, reversing from a THB 995.3 million profit a year earlier, as lower selling prices and exceptional flood-related charges offset cost savings and higher other gains.

The loss translated into basic earnings per share of THB 0.04, compared with earnings per share of THB 0.35 in FY24. The board has proposed a cash dividend of THB 0.50 per share for FY25, matching the prior-year payout, with payment scheduled in 2Q26 pending shareholder approval.

Revenue from sales and services decreased 4.5 per cent year-on-year to THB 23.89 billion, reflecting continued pricing pressure in the global rubber glove market. Gross profit edged up 0.5 per cent to THB 2.18 billion, supported by lower raw-material costs and inventory write-backs, but these gains were eclipsed by higher administrative charges.

By segment, the core glove division recorded a pre-tax loss of THB 89 million, versus a THB 753 million profit a year earlier, amid subdued average selling prices and intense competition. The “other businesses” segment—which comprises engineering services and treasury investment activities—posted a pre-tax loss of THB 145 million, swinging from a THB 317 million profit in FY24.

Key drags included: • THB 424.1 million in flood-related asset write-offs and expenses following severe inundation in Hat Yai and Sadao during 4Q25. • THB 244.5 million in impairment charges on non-financial assets and a THB 117 million loss on the capital reduction of subsidiary Sri Trang Gloves Global Pte Ltd. • A THB 194.3 million foreign-exchange loss, versus THB 64.7 million in FY24. • Finance costs of THB 235.4 million, partly mitigated by THB 166.4 million of finance income.

STGT continued to invest in capacity and efficiency, adding THB 787.4 million in new plant and equipment and securing a THB 2.0 billion sustainability-linked loan during the year. The company also launched a share-buyback programme of up to THB 1.5 billion, purchasing 74.8 million shares for THB 576.9 million by 31 Dec 2025.

Operating cash flow strengthened to THB 3.99 billion from THB 1.22 billion a year earlier, aided by working-capital release and lower inventory levels. Net debt-to-equity remained low at 0.04 times.

Looking ahead, STGT is focused on completing capacity projects, restoring assets damaged by floods and driving cost efficiencies. Management expects global glove demand to normalise gradually, while the new sustainability-linked financing structure is intended to support long-term growth and environmental commitments.
