Geekplus buys back 1.20 million WVR shares, lifting treasury portfolio to 11.30 million

Beijing Geekplus Technology Co., Ltd. (Geekplus) disclosed that on 15 July 2026 it repurchased 1.20 million Class B WVR ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The shares were bought at prices between HKD 9.71 and HKD 10.36, with a volume-weighted average of HKD 10.09, for a total consideration of HKD 12.11 million.

Following the transaction, the company’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) fell from 1,014.05 million to 1,012.85 million, a reduction of 0.118%. Treasury shares increased correspondingly to 11.30 million, while the total number of shares outstanding remained unchanged at 1,024.15 million.

The repurchase was executed under the mandate approved on 26 May 2026, which allows buybacks of up to 102.42 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this authority now stand at 11.30 million shares, equivalent to 1.103% of the company’s issued shares as of the mandate date.

Geekplus is subject to a 30-day moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares, effective until 15 August 2026, as stipulated by Hong Kong listing rules.
