Tanwan Repurchases 211,600 Shares for HK$2.14 Million, Treasury Stock Climbs to 17.48 Million

Tanwan Inc., a Cayman Islands-incorporated company listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, reported a share buyback on 7 October 2026 under its existing repurchase mandate. The company acquired 211,600 ordinary shares on the Exchange, equal to 0.04% of its outstanding share count (excluding treasury shares).

The repurchase was executed at prices ranging from HK$9.955 to HK$10.25 per share, with a volume-weighted average cost of HK$10.121, bringing the total consideration to HK$2.14 million.

Following the transaction, Tanwan’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) declined to 516.96 million shares from 517.17 million shares, while treasury shares increased to 17.48 million. The company’s total issued share capital, inclusive of treasury shares, remained unchanged at 534.44 million shares.

The 7 October trade lifts cumulative repurchases under the mandate approved on 17 June 2026 to 4.27 million shares, representing 0.82% of the shares outstanding on the mandate date. Tanwan remains authorised to repurchase up to 52.12 million shares in total. In accordance with Hong Kong listing rules, the company is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or selling treasury shares until 6 November 2026.
