Capchem Announces Electrolyte Supply Agreement with CATL, Targeting 300,000 Tonnes in 2026-2028

Shenzhen Capchem Technology Co.,Ltd. (SZSE: 300037), commonly known as Capchem, has announced a significant supply agreement. The company revealed on June 7th that it has entered into an Electrolyte Cooperation Agreement with Contemporary Amperex Technology Co.,Ltd. (CATL).

The terms of the contract outline projected procurement volumes for the period spanning 2026 to 2028. Under the agreement, CATL is expected to purchase 50,000 tonnes, 100,000 tonnes, and 150,000 tonnes of electrolyte from Capchem in 2026, 2027, and 2028, respectively. This amounts to a total estimated volume of 300,000 tonnes over the three-year period.

The agreement is set to remain in effect until December 31, 2028. It is important to note that the final procurement quantities will be subject to actual purchase orders placed by CATL. The contract includes a penalty clause, stipulating that a breach would result in compensation of 25 million yuan.

Capchem stated that this agreement is anticipated to have a positive impact on the company's operating results for the years 2026 through 2028.
