V2X, Inc. (VVX) shares surged 8.38% in the after-hours session on Monday following the release of its first quarter 2026 financial results.
The defense solutions provider reported quarterly revenue of $1.25 billion, beating analyst estimates of $1.13 billion and representing a 23% year-over-year increase. Adjusted earnings per share came in at $1.53, significantly above the $1.03 consensus estimate and marking a 55% increase from the prior year. Adjusted EBITDA of $85.6 million also exceeded expectations.
Furthermore, the company increased its full-year 2026 guidance, raising revenue expectations to a range of $4.83 billion to $4.98 billion. V2X also reported a record backlog of $13.8 billion, driven by approximately $4.1 billion in new contract awards during the quarter.
