RemeGen Co., Ltd. announced that it signed OCBC Wealth Management Product Agreement No. 2 on 18 August 2026 to deploy US$30.00 million of idle self-owned funds into OCBC’s “Zeng Li” Profit-Linked Structured Deposit (Product Code: SH202605150114PLI).

The latest commitment follows the US$70.00 million placement made on 14 May 2026 under Agreement No. 1, bringing the company’s cumulative investment with Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation (OCBC) to US$100.00 million within a 12-month window. Both transactions fall under a RMB2.50 billion (approximately US$343 million) cash-management mandate approved by RemeGen’s Board on 27 March 2026.

Key product terms • Type & risk: Non-principal-guaranteed, fixed-income product with floating returns; medium-risk rating. • Investment scope: Proceeds allocated to standardized fixed-income assets including money-market and bond-market instruments, and linked to USD Bond-Linked Notes (Series SD[ID0334]). • Tenor: From 24 August 2026 to 20 August 2027, with provisions for full or partial early redemption subject to OCBC’s consent; OCBC retains an early-termination right. • Expected return: Annualized yield fluctuates with market conditions and is not guaranteed.

Regulatory position Under Hong Kong Listing Rule 14.22, the two OCBC agreements are aggregated as they are similar transactions with the same financial institution within 12 months. One of the applicable percentage ratios exceeds 5% but remains below 25%, classifying the combined transaction as a “discloseable transaction” that requires reporting and public announcement. OCBC is an independent third party; therefore, the deal is not a connected transaction.

Strategic rationale Management aims to “fully revitalize idle funds and improve capital utilization efficiency” by deploying surplus liquidity into low- to medium-risk bank wealth-management products that historically out-yield comparable term deposits. The Board considers the terms to be fair, conducted on normal commercial terms, and in the best interests of the company and its shareholders.
